While in my younger years I never really understood while my parents took us to parks, but as I grew that changed. I started to look forward to summer trips to where ever my parents were going to take us. I have been interested in the outdoors for most of my life. I have done hiking and backpacking.
I have not done as much recently, but would love to do more. I have tried to put the information I know into on place. I divided the groups up between National Parks, Monuments, Museums, State Parks and Other.
National Parks are parks that were created by the goverment. They first came into creation in 1872 and have grown since then.
