I have been interested in the outdoors for most of my life. My parents found that going to state and national parks were cheaper than a theme park. Soon I grew to love what I was seeing. I have taken every chance to go back to those places. I have tried to gather all in my knowledge about the parks, hikes, and any valuable information about them into one place. Each parks offers something different to see or learn about. There is never anything the same about them. The contrast of colors and landscapes alone makes each something special. National parks are not all that I have seen in my lifetime. There are just as many other places to see that are not national parks. They may not all be outdoors but they are at least interesting to see. Each one has something different from the others. It may be something historical or something interesting to just see. I have split it into two groups, because monuments are something similar to National Parks. They have their own beauty and grandeur. They also are owned and run by the US government. The other list is state parks and various other places that are still worth seeing. These are places that I feel everyone should have a chance to see at least once in their life.
