Cocky teen detective Jimmy Kudo solves all of the Tokyo police department's crimes until he's caught overhearing a couple of thugs. Jimmy's force-fed an
experimental untraceable poison which instead of killing him, turns him into an 8-year-old. With the help of his neighbor, Dr. Agasa, Jimmy takes on the
pseudonym Conan Edogawa and continues solving crimes with the aid of a number of handy gadgets and unwitting private investigator Richard Moore. Of course, the one crime Jimmy truly wants to solve is his own, so he can get back to his old life and his down-to-earth girlfriend, Rachel Moore.
